More Announcements

After we shared the news with Gavin and Elsie on Monday, we let Gavin make some phone calls to share the news with family.  He called Grandma and Grandpa (Rob and Jule), Grandma Jo, and Grandma Harding.  We also let Grandpa Lutz know about the anticipated arrival of another great-grandchild.  Everyone seemed to be both surprised and excited!

Next I sent an email to extended family members to share the news.  We received many nice email responses.  Chocolate Chip will be just as loved as Gavin and Elsie are.  

We have some photos to share on social media on Labor Day to announce to other friends and more extended family.  Since I'm planning to post the photos on Monday and we don't have school that day, I shared with my co-workers on Friday.    I ordered Dunkin donuts to draw people to the staff lounge.  And I put a sign on the table that said, "Our Labor Day isn't until March 2022" and two photos of Gavin and Elsie in their "Big" and "Middle" shirts with the "Little" onesie.  

Soooooo many people stopped by my room to congratulate me, so it was a fun morning.  The staff at Karen Acres really feels like my second family, so it has seemed like I've been keeping a big secret - and I finally got to share it!  Now we have told everyone we want to tell in person and we're ready for our social media post on Monday.
