Lining Check and Blood Draw

Yesterday I had a lining check and blood draw at Mid-Iowa.  This is the only appointment I've had since starting my embryo transfer med calendar and it's the only one I will have before the actual transfer date.  The nurse looked at the lining of my uterus to make sure the lining is thickening and she was pleased with what she saw.  I also had blood drawn to check estrogen levels - no news is good news on that front and I have not received any messages about a concern.

Our transfer is officially scheduled for Tuesday, September 17 at 2:30 pm.  In preparation, we will begin progesterone shots on Thursday night.  My nurse marked me with permanent marker to identify the ideal area to do the injections.  She also gave me a sheet of instructions about the 48 hours leading up to the transfer and then sent me on my way.  One week to go!
