All Systems Go!
I had an ultrasound and blood drawn this morning (Thursday) to see if I am on track for embryo transfer next Friday, July 2. The ultrasound showed that the uterine lining is thick and measuring 7-8 mm on each side. The nurse said that she didn't see anything that would suggest we would need to postpone the transfer. After speaking with the doctor and seeing the results of my blood work, she called to say we can proceed as planned! My estrogen level is within the desired range and the number is similar to what it was prior to our last embryo transfer.
So I continue taking a prenatal, vitamin D, and baby Aspirin daily. We will begin progesterone in oil (shots) Sunday night and the nurse marked the ideal location with a Sharpie at my appointment. I am also to continue using the vaginal estrogen twice daily through next Thursday. After the transfer I'll get updated instructions on meds moving forward.
We are scheduled for an 11:30 transfer and will check in at 11:20. I think it's likely we will be home by noon!
