40 Weeks

Today was Colin's due date.  We have gotten to spend the past 9 days with him so it's hard to imagine still being pregnant and still referring to the baby as "Chocolate Chip."  

Gavin and Elsie are doing really well.  Elsie has had very few meltdowns about wanting me to be with her and she is starting to pay a little bit of attention to Colin.  She will bring diapers to me and likes to give Colin his pacifier.  Gavin often asks to hold Colin and talks to him and reads to him a lot.  

Eric and I are finding a groove of caring for three kids rather than two.  For now, Eric is trying to get his snuggle time in after dinner since I am getting my snuggle time during the day and overnight.  

Colin is sleeping a lot, but unfortunately does his longest naps during the day rather than overnight.  As he gains weight, he will hopefully sleep longer stretches netween 9 pm and 6 am.  

We love this little guy.  He is the perfect addition to our family!
