4 Weeks

If our transfer was successful, I would be 4 weeks pregnant today.  The baby would be the size of a poppyseed.

After Elsie's transfer, I waited for my blood test to determine whether or not I was pregnant and we had completed a successful trasnfer.  Many people take a home pregnancy test prior to going in for a blood test and I resisted the urge.  But after this transfer, I am having some symptoms I can't ignore and the temptation is too much to resist.  I am planning to take a test tomorrow (Monday), which will be the 10th day after transfer.  I'm hopeful that if I use the first urine of the morning will have enough hCG to be dectable (if I am pregnant).

Over the past couple of days I have been feeling a little nauseous in the evenings and if I wait too long to eat between meals.  There have been a couple of instances of forgetfulness that have made Eric raise his eyebrows at me.  And when I brushed my teeth tonight, I gagged and thought I might be sick.  So I have a feeling the test may be positive!  I had Eric take a photo of me this week so that we'll have a 4 week photo to start the weekly photo trend if I do end up being pregnant.  We still need to find a better spot to take these photos!
